Information Communication Technology is woven into our curriculum in many ways. All children have a unique log in to our sister site "Education City" where they can do their homework and practice their skills online. In the lower school, pupils make use of our many ipads to do research, and to practice their literacy and numeracy skills. In the upper school each pupil is assigned a laptop where they increase their ICT skills through using Power Point, email, Publisher, word and excel.

Visual Arts

In art classes, pupils from Nursery to Year 6 will learn about colour mixing, colour appreciation, pattern and form and artist appreciation. Pupils will learn to use different media to design, draw, create and make their own art works. Art lessons are informed by the class topic.

Music is taught throughout the school from Nursery to Year 6. It is taught as a stand alone subject and by a dedicated teacher. Children learn all the different elements of music, from keeping in tune whilst singing, to musical notation. Performing arts is also taught and all pupils get the opportunity to perform in class assemblies, plays and Nativity plays.

French is taught as a stand alone subject from Nursery to Year 6. Pupils learn to communicate in French, conversational French is our main focus but pupils will also learn some basic written French.

Physical Education

Physical Education is taught through all the grades at TPS. Pupils can expect to learn hand-eye and hand-foot coordination, balance, ball skills, focus, dedication and teamwork. Sportsmanship is always at the forefront of everything that we do in PE.
