Technology
Information Communication Technology is woven into our curriculum in many ways. All students have a unique login to "Education City". This site reinforces curriculum learning objectives for Numeracy, Literacy and Science. Early Years & Key Stage 1 use tablets for research, and to practice their Literacy and Numeracy skills. Key Stage 2 students use laptops to extend their independent ICT skills in research and presentation activities.
Visual Arts
In art classes, students learn about colour mixing, colour appreciation, pattern, form and artist appreciation. Pupils will learn to use different media to design, draw, create and make their own works of art. Art topics link to class themes and curriculum-led learning objectives.
Music & Performing Arts
Music is taught as a stand-alone subject by a qualified student teacher. Children learn different elements of music, such as rhythm, tune, melody and harmony in group and individual pieces. The Performing Arts are taught to provide students the opportunity to perform in class assemblies and whole school productions.
Physical Education
Physical Education is taught through all the grades at TPS. Students can expect to learn hand-eye and hand-foot coordination, balance, ball skills, focus, dedication and teamwork. Sportsmanship is always at the forefront of everything that we do in PE.
